This week in Gardening club we made butterfly feeders to give the butterflies in our school garden a tasty snack! During the next couple of weeks we will be creating a butterfly garden near to our vegetable patch. Watch this space...
The boys and girls are busy at work decorating their butterfly feeder cups, with colourful paper petals.
Once we had finished decorating the butterfly feeders, the children attached a piece of string so they could hang the cup in a tree or somewhere in a garden. The children also placed cotton wool inside of the cups ready to add sugar and water to feed the butterflies.
