Learning Our Lines in Drama

In drama today we practiced our lines for our upcoming production. We had to use a loud voice and remember not to hold the paper over our faces.

Wax resist paintings

 Art Club children tried the wax resist method to create bright Japanese Carp images.

They had to imagine what the fish would look like when looking down in to a pond.

Planting our seeds

This week in our Planting ECA, we prepared our special plant pots with soil. Then we chose to plant either a chilli, sugar pea or pepper plant. Next we gently placed our seeds into a small hole into the soil and covered them up with more soil. After that we poured a small amount of water into our plant pots to help our plants to grow. Lastly we placed our plant pots in our classrooms next to the window so they can be nice and warm in the sunshine. We will look after our little plants everyday to help them grow big and strong!

Tree Posing Incy Wincy Yogis

Today in Yoga we practiced the tree pose. Look how good we are at balancing! We can hold the tree pose for a count of 20 seconds.
