This week we finished making our grouchy ladybirds and we offered our ideas of how the ladybirds could become less grouchy. For example one child suggested she would tell the ladybird jokes to make him feel happy!

Chinese Songs
The main activities in ECA Mandarin Class are Traditional Chinese songs and Tang poems. Based on these fun activities, children could have a preliminary understanding of the Chinese language and lay a good foundation for future systematic study. The students are quite enjoying the class.

The bad tempered ladybird
This week boys and girls in the Story Book Art ECA listened to a different story from Eric Carle... 'The bad tempered Ladybird'. We then discussed how we could help the bad tempered ladybird feel less angry and to feel happy instead. Then we began creating our ladybird crafts.

Beautiful butterflies
Yesterday we finished making our beautiful butterfly crafts from Eric Carle's famous book The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We then read another Eric Carle book - The Bad Tempered Ladybird. The ECA group discussed ways in which we could help the ladybird feel less grouchy. Next week we will begin creating our Bad Tempered Ladybird crafts.

Thai Science
In Thai Science we made static electricity by rubbing balloons on our hair. Ours hairs stood up on end!
