We used it to make small bowls that we shall leave to dry over the holidays and then paint.

Pitta Pizza

This week in our ECA we made deliciously healthy pizzas! For the pizza base we used a small pitta bread, then we covered it in tomato puree. Next we added our vegetable toppings, which included; sweetcorn, peppers (red, green and yellow), cherry tomatoes, and sweet basil that we had grown in our school garden. Finally we covered our pizzas with mozzarella cheese. Take a look at us hard at work....

Swimming Club

In swimming club, we played a game. We had to get from one end of the pool to the other without getting caught.

Curtain Up Drama

We listened sensibly to Miss Beth and the practiced using expression for different characters. One of us was the mum and one of us was the dad. Without telling people, we had to present a short act pretending that we were having dinner and the other children had to guess who was mum and who was dad from the expression in our voices.

Art & Craft Club

This week in Art Club we took our inspiration from the falling leaves in the school playground. We went to the art room to try out our painting skills to recreate autumn and spring trees.

Almond biscuits

Last week Ascot School celebrated Chinese New Year. In our KS1 cooking and planting ECA club we decided to bake almond cookies.
