Planting vegetables in our vegetable patch!
Last week in our Planting club we prepared our vegetable patch by digging up the soil and placing a layer of nutritious compost, ready for our seeds. Once we'd sprinkled our seeds in the planting area, we covered them with more soil and compost. Finally we watered the vegetable patch and placed labels of where our vegetables will hopefully grow!
It's A Secret
Miss Lavery visited the children at the KS1 drama club today but she couldn't take any pictures. The children were rehersing for their production of Roald Dahl's 'The Twits' and we don't want to give away how good they were!
Homework Club
Sometimes we think hard to complete our own homework.
Sometimes we help each other.
Sometimes the teacher helps us.

Art Club
In Art Club we made some decorative butterflies to be part of the scenery in the Christmas production.
We also tried out 3D model making with plastercine to make mini- worlds.
Curtain Up Drama
In drama club today we warmed ourselves up by playing a game of four corners. Someone had to stand in the middle with their eyes closed and count while everyone else went to one of the corners. Then the person stood in the middle kept their eyes closed while they pointed to a corner. Whoever was in the chosen corner was out.
Then we went on to practice our lines for our productions...but you can't see the pictures of us doing that because we don't want to give anything away!

Halloween cookies!
Last week in Cooking Club we made some spooky pumpkin cookies. Take a look at the photos below of us cooking up a storm!
Then we carefully cut circular shapes for our pumpkin cookies.
Next we placed the circular cookie shaped dough onto baking trays, ready to go into the oven.
Whilst the cookies were baking in the oven, we mixed icing sugar, water and food colouring together, so that our pumpkins could have a sweet orange colour.
Finally we decorated our spooky cookies!
